DescriptionMorning robe in pink / peach silk taffeta with contrast F and B inserts, collar and cuffs of Japanese printed and embroidered crepe (kimono) fabric with water and floral motifs; peter pan collar; closely fitted with shaped and pleated back Watteau panel; three piece sleeve with turn back split cuff; floor length coat style, trained, with pink silk hem ruffle and cockade trim

Label Text:This dress was made from authentic kimono fabric imported to America from Japan. The textile was probably originally intended for women of the samurai class.
