Sybilla

Born in 1963 in New York City, Sybilla moved to Spain as a child. A member of the post-Franco generation that emerged in the 1980s, she became known for clothing and accessories characterized by unusual, often biomorphic shapes. She withdrew from the fashion world for several years, and today sells mostly in Japan. During the 1980s, however, she – along with Romeo Gigli – represented a softer, gentler alternative to the often aggressive styles of that decade.
