Pinstriped baseball uniforms were first seen in the late nineteenth century. Since 1907, the style has consistently been worn by at least one major league team every season. Script-lettered team logos and collarless jerseys became common around 1930, and both remain characteristic of many baseball uniforms today.
Descriptionman's baseball shirt: grey wool flannel with blue chalk stripes round neckline with blue, false band collar; one piece back; one piece short sleeves with blue band trim at cuff; front with blue flannel Swans appliqué at chest and braid trimmed pullover neckline effect; rounded shirt tails; center front button closing. Matching knickers: back with button closing patch pocket at right, waist darts and belt channel; elasticized cuffs. Front with four belt loops at waist; button fly closing. Coordinated leggings: grey knit wool with blue tops; stirrup bottoms; calf height.
