Pinstriped baseball uniforms were first seen in the late nineteenth century. Since 1907, the style has consistently been worn by at least one major league team every season. Script-lettered team logos and collarless jerseys became common around 1930, and both remain characteristic of many baseball uniforms today.

Matching knickers: back with button closing patch pocket at right, waist darts and belt channel; elasticized cuffs. Front with four belt loops at waist; button fly closing.
