Richard James combines traditional tailoring techniques with unconventional motifs, such as camouflage. This particular camouflage is a variation on the woodland Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) used by the British Army from 1963 to 2009. The suit thus combines two pillars of British masculinity (Saville Row and the military) into a single look.
