Viewed from the front, this khaki dress has touches befitting a soldiers’ uniform, but the militaristic details contrast with a panel of soft, cascading pink chiffon at the back. Herchcovitch described the inspiration for the collection—“Army of Love”—that included this dress as “a focused study of politically troubled, foreign-ruled, war-torn countries.”
