Burlap seems an unsophisticated fabric for an evening dress, but Mizrahi makes it glamorous with hot pink satin. The decorative frayed hem is intentional, but meant to look as if it happened naturally. This dress is a clever play on the expression “she can wear a burlap sack and still look good.”
