The color pink was very fashionable in the 1980s, and the seductiveness of Azzedine Alaïa’s body-worshipping dresses was further enhanced when produced in pink. By the 1990s, pink was no longer as trendy as it had been during the previous decade, but it continued to be popular with some clients and designers.
