“I’ve never done frills, and that’s not going to change,” proclaimed André Courrèges in 1967. The couturier was then renowned for his hard-edged, Space Age fashions, but as the decade progressed, so too did his style. Although this dress retains an angular silhouette, the design is defined by frills and bows.
