The cut and fabric of this ensemble takes inspiration from dancewear of the late 1970s. Designer Norma Kamali was fascinated by the new fitness lifestyle and drew on athletic attire in her work. For her, it was about “comfort and how you feel, and I don’t think there should be a line between activewear and ready-to-wear.”
