The ideal Edwardian woman was tall, voluptuous, and strikingly feminine. The curves of her fashionable silhouette emphasized the bosom—indeed, a “monobosom”—an effect furthered by bloused, frilly bodices, as on this afternoon dress. The delicate lace that covers the neckline also extends gracefully over the shoulders.
DescriptionTwo-piece dress in red-orange dotted cotton voile; bodice has cream lace yoke with band collar, cut steel buttons, blouson front, self sash with square metal buckle CB; 3/4 length puffed sleeves; full length gored skirt with hem ruffleCollections
