The fabric of this one-of-a-kind suit was made with a kimono dyeing technique of stretching and hand-painting the silk before it is cut. It is similar to a style worn by B-52’s musician Fred Schneider for the environmental charity auction “Don’t Bungle the Jungle,” which was featured on MTV’s House of Style in 1992.
