Alexander McQueen showed this top as part of his fall 1997 collection for Givenchy. On its own, the leather, nipple cut-outs, and exposed zipper draw inspiration from fetish wear. But for the runway, McQueen dressed the top with a black turtleneck underneath and completed the look with black wool pants and heels for a more modest, everyday look.
