Christian Francis Roth presented his first formal runway show for the fall 1990 season, when he was still in his early twenties. The youthful exuberance of his designs was balanced by immaculate craftsmanship. Roth’s witty ideas earned him the nickname the “Schiaparelli of the ’90s.”
