The traditional styling of this simple shirt dress is given an air of sweetness and delicacy with the addition of eyelet lace insets on the shoulders and sleeves. The expanse of pure-white fabric is then interrupted by a shiny black, calfskin belt that aggressively calls attention to the natural waist. When lying flat, the back pockets of the belt resemble an oversized bow. This feminine styling is ultimately utilitarian, as the pockets expand to large proportions in order to hold the wearer's possessions.
