Women’s Wear Daily once characterized Karl Lagerfeld as “fashion’s consummate overachiever,” an apt description for a man who for many years has designed for Chanel and Fendi, as well as his eponymous label. For this collection, Lagerfeld revised the proportions of his garments ever so slightly—shortening the drop waist skirt and elongating the jacket.
