Punk is a music-based subculture dating to the 1970s that is generally anti-establishment and anti-capitalist. These ideas were expressed in music lyrics and most visibly in punk fashion that featured working class and military styles with shocking elements, such as facial piercings and bondage straps. For some punks, such as Anarcho-punks, their beliefs extend to veganism in dress and diet (this jacket contains no animal products) as an expression of anti-consumerism and concern for the environment.
