The Jil Sander label has historically been associated with minimalism, but the spring 2011 collection by Raf Simons featured what he called “maximalism,” including exaggerated silhouettes, such as this tent dress, and a rich, bold color palette. Simons focused primarily on menswear before his appointment to Jil Sander in 2005.
