Thierry Mugler is one of the designers synonymous with the “power dressing” look of the 1980s. His bold-shouldered suits often incorporated futuristic elements. Here, Mugler has trimmed the classic black suiting material with leather, adding reptilian fins to the cuffs and asymmetrical lapel, and a sci-fi appliqué to the chest.
