This jumpsuit showcases the chic and modern sensibilities of both the designer, Halston, and his client, Lauren Bacall, the renowned actress and model. The halter neckline was a popular mid-century element that is made to look new and daring when paired with the jumpsuit. Halston cultivated special relationships with influential customers such as Bacall – his “theater clients,” for whom his designs were especially bold.
