This leather ensemble with trapunto stitching projects an exuberance and sexual ambiguity typical of glam-rock style. Larry LeGaspi was a pioneer of the futuristic look of the 70s and early 80s. With his fall 2019 collection, designer Rick Owens paid homage to LeGaspi, saying that he “introduced a camp ferocity to the mainstream . . . with his art deco sexual ambiguity and raw, black leather bombast.”
