The shoes of Manolo Blahnik are internationally renowned for their beauty and elegance. These mules, with their low, curved heel and lavish ornamentation are an example of Blahnik's love of historic design, in particular the styles of the 18th century. The Orientalia mules were designed in 1986 for Paloma Picasso, Blahnik's client and close friend, but were later produced in many different colors and materials.
