DescriptionToga style, one shoulder short dress in crinkled polished cotton with deep rose pink draped and pleated over panels in polyester organza; metal jacket zipper at side opening with wide fly front panel in cotton satin, fabric selvage finished edge - vintage foundation garment reference; raw finished hems - over panel frayed, under dress with topstitched edge
Label Text:The outer layers of fabric in this dress appear to be unfolding around the body, suggesting that the design is either a work-in-progress or coming apart. Despite this deconstructed approach to dressmaking, Alber Elbaz’s skill for draping resulted in a look that is more elegant than it is disheveled.
