DescriptionDress in white cotton printed with 3 cm stripes in gold; open round neck with 1.5 cm shaped band collar with 12 cm opening at center front; shaped raglan sleeves; bodice and slight A-line skirt are cut on opposite bias grain with square miter resulting at front and back waist band; round breast pocket at left and larger round patch pockets on skirt; 10 button front on 2.7 cm gold band at front; Label: I.D. Label Text:Emmanuelle Khanh was a leader of the French ready-to-wear revolution. She began her fashion career as a model for Balenciaga, but left in 1960 to start her own label. Khanh’s fresh, bold designs were greatly influential, both to other ready-to-wear designers and to couturiers. This “Op Art” dress from 1966 was featured in Mademoiselle.
