Label Text:Alluring sleeves could enliven the otherwise straight silhouettes of 1920s dresses. Sleeves with insets of contrasting materials could be found throughout the decade, yet this design—in which panels of densely beaded net form an exaggerated bishop shape—is unusual. Although not a stereotypical “flapper” dress, it was made for movement.
