Label Text:Textile design is any image, color, texture, or motif that appears on the surface of a textile. Also known for his skill as a painter, Adrian hand-painted a vivid aquatic scene for this dress. To avoid interrupting the pattern, Adrian manipulated the fabric by extending the bust dart around the fish at the waistline. The same technique was used for the side seams on the skirt.
