Label Text:Zandra Rhodes began combining her printed fabrics with clothing of her own design in 1969. Her Knitted Circle print is used on the sleeves and bodice of this dress. The motif is a result of the designer's desire to interpret a knitted chain stitch in a flat, graphic manner. Although her unique chiffon dresses fit the dramatic mood of late 1960s fashion, Rhodes focused more on creating garments that harmonized with her textiles.
