Label Text:Inspired by American country music, western wear blends utilitarian work clothing with Las Vegas extravagance. “Cowboy couture” is a metaphor for the “melting pot,” open to design elements from Native American, Hispanic, and East European cultures. “Rodeo tailoring” is a widely favored look, from ranch hand to movie star. Subdued versions allow urban middle class men a measure of socially acceptable creative latitude in their choice of dress.
