Label Text:Courrèges’s white leather boots were versatile, practical, and ideal for a young clientele. As Queen magazine noted, the stark geometry of Courrèges’s fashions simply did not work with high heels. The Space Age effect of the boots was enhanced by closures made from Velcro, a material used by NASA in spaceships.
