Label Text:“Ethnic is what we did in the sixties,” said Rifat Ozbek in 1994. “The last thing you want is for your collection to be like one of those costume parties. You don’t want to be literal about it.” Here, the designer subtly referenced his heritage through the inclusion of silver balls, like those found on Turkish jewelry.
