Label Text:​Jil Sander has described her aesthetic as pure. Influenced by the functionality of Bauhaus, the German art school movement of the 1920s, her minimalist style marries luxurious fabrics with classic shapes. Called the “queen of less,” Sander says, “for me it was all about form, function and proportion. I never just wanted to decorate.”
