Label Text:Dublin was not a fashion epicenter. Yet the outstanding modes of Sybil Connolly, often made with Irish fabrics such as linen and tweed, attracted worldwide press and an array of internationally prominent clients. Connolly lavished great attention on the public salon and private rooms of her Georgian-era Dublin townhouse. The former was covered in hundreds of yards of the same finely pleated Irish linen she used for her couture gowns.
