Label Text:Design critic Deyan Sudjic described Rei Kawakubo’s early designs as “abstraction of fashion into the fundamentals of texture, form and color.” Although her T-shirt was meticulously constructed, its asymmetrical pieces appear to be haphazardly assembled, leaving gaps and unfinished edges.
