Label Text:Although they may appear less extravagant than eveningwear fabrics, couture daywear textiles were just as innovative and well-chosen. Nina Ricci’s Il m’attend (“He Waits For Me”) design uses wool and mohair woven with surrealist “eyelashes” and trimmed with cherry-shaped metal closures, creating a chic and amusingly off-kilter ensemble.
