Label Text:The woven cloth has weft elements of red, manmade yarns that may be cellophane, a material with which Schiaparelli had experimented in previous collections. In her “Twelve Commandments for Women,” Schiaparelli offers advice on how women can develop non-wasteful patterns of consumption: “They should buy little, and only of the best or the cheapest.”
