Label Text:Certain elements in this licensed copy differ from those of the original Christian Dior couture dress, such as a synthetic blend of satin and pinked seams that were hand-overcast in the original. Department store reps who attended the Paris couture shows paid an entry fee, referred to as a “caution.” The caution went toward the purchase of a couture sample and the license to copy it.
