DescriptionSemi fitted suit in lightweight gray wool with fine orange windowpane check; semi fitted jacket with self bias cut overlapping strips as outline of novelty peaked lapels and hip pockets, and as horizontal insets; calf length straight skirt
Label Text:The construction of this jacket is surprisingly complex. The hip panel and pocket alone are comprised of six separate pieces. Adrian used details such as inset strips of bias-cut fabric to add interest to otherwise conservative garments. He strove for a balance that he called “controlled excitement.”
