Label Text:Veronique Branquinho was part of a group from Antwerp’s Royal Academy who gained international fame during the 1990s. Journalist Anne-Marie Schiro described the designer’s work as “somewhere between tradition and experimentation.” That duality is exemplified by this dress, which merges elements of deconstruction with a stereotypically feminine, 1950s-inspired silhouette.
