Label Text:Pino Lancetti's reputation as the "artist couturier" is upheld by this dress made of panels of sumptuous jewel tone silks offset by strips of black velvet. The iridescent fabric catches light as the dress moves and folds, creating a subtle drama. The high neckline and oversized silhouette emphasize Lancetti's interest in designing for the mature and sophisticated woman (he felt that youth had no elegance).
