Label Text:Iris van Herpen and artist Jólan van der Wiel harnessed magnetic fields to “grow” this pair of spiky, otherworldly shoes. They engineered a unique material from iron filings and resin that was then manipulated with a magnet to create the shoes — a powerful synthesis of fashion, nature, and technology.
