Label Text:Daniel Day (aka Dapper Dan) printed the leather for this jacket to imitate German brand MCM. Day’s Harlem boutique became renowned for custom creations covered in luxury logos, such as those for Louis Vuitton and Gucci, that helped usher in the “logomania” trend of the 1990s. In 2018, Day launched a collaboration with Gucci and reissued some of his signature styles, including this jacket (of course, the MCM logo was swapped for Gucci’s).
