DescriptionIvory below calf length slip in crinkle silk chiffon with silk lace at bust, upper back and at shirred wide flounce at hem in a delicate floral pattern; narrow shoulder straps; deep V neckline at front and back; cut on the bias at body; scalloped seam at lower skirt, diagonal princess seaming at front body, triangular panel at upper bodice sides with curved point at front and back; CF point at upper bodice yoke like lace panel, opposite at back with rounded CB; hand overcast seaming
Label Text:As hemlines rose or fell, slips followed suit. This slip was designed to be worn under a 1930s evening dress with a skirt that skimmed the floor. The wide, gathered band of lace at the slip’s hem would have given the skirt a subtle flare.
