Label Text:In 2012, Alberto Guardiani and the British style magazine i-D staged an international competition to create a new style for the brand. The winner was the “Flutterby” shoe, by multidisciplinary designer Lady San Pedro, that was released in 2013. The painstakingly hand-painted heels, cast from metal shaped like butterfly wings, won out of over 800 entries from 50 countries. Guardiani has since designed and produced sandals and boots with the “Flutterby” heel for his seasonal collections.
