Label Text:Thierry Mugler’s interest in fantasy and fetishism resulted in highly original designs, such as this ultra-feminine evening ensemble, which might strike some observers as over-the-top, even “high camp.” But Mugler achieved great success with fashion-forward clients. His mastery of complex cuts and construction also assured a skin-tight fit. “Mugler’s designs usually leave no curve unaccented,” wrote fashion editor Carrie Donovan. “Sometimes, they add a few more for good measure.”
