Label Text:Burberry famously supplied canvas raincoats (dubbed “trench” coats) for British troops during World War I. Christopher Bailey frequently referenced the brand’s military legacy in his ready-to-wear collections. Here he juxtaposes a cropped olive drab jacket with a ruched dress of army green netting. The brass buttons are emblazoned with “Burberry” in bold, replacing the military seal with a brand name.
