Descriptionsleeveless evening gown with train in orange silk faille; form fitting bodice with curved empire waist; at CF waist pale orange silk satin band and large rhinestone pin with teardrop fringe; high front rolled collar plunging to deep V at back; full skirt with intricate cut - front panels continue to back with side seam dart for shaping - back left side cut in one piece becomes full back of gown & right side has bodice and skirt, side pleats at skirt adds fullness; pleated bias cut right back bodice extends to side back closure; large double bow in pale orange silk satin at CB waist
Label Text:Christian Lacroix emerged as a new star of the couture in 1987, bankrolled with five million francs from a French textile conglomerate. His work was exotic, lavish, and colorful. Although LaCroix has recently withdrawn from the couture, he continues to work in the theatre.
