DescriptionGrey and black striped wool pantsuit consisting of waist length jacket with toggle front closure and traditional Mexican Charro applique in purple suede at shoulders and upper bodice, and self fabric ammunition belt extending from jacket collar across front bodice, and pants with matching applique down right and left side pant leg.

Label Text:The hand-cut, purple suede appliqué on this suit was based on intricate Aztec patterning from a Mexican cowboy (charro) costume. Carla Fernandez melded symbols of the Mexican Revolution—such as an ammunition belt—with fine tailoring to give this suit a modern look.
