Label Text:Jean Paul Gaultier became known as the "enfant terrible" of French fashion after launching his career more than forty years ago. His designs often combine playfulness, irreverence, and sexuality—exemplified by the trompe l’oeil technique used on this form-fitting ensemble. While such imaginative elements characterize Gaultier’s aesthetic, he is also a highly skilled craftsman.
