DescriptionDiaphanous red, black, white silk tulle evening gown steam dyed to create a mottled tie-dye effect: sleeveless criss cross front bodice creating appearance of a deep v-neckline, white tulle under bodice with round neckline; white tulle back bodice; mohair black yarn detailing at front L bodice, falling into black mohair streamer down L side; tulle streamers at back R and L shoulder and L waist; red, white and black faceted bead detail at L side zipper closure; long double layer tulle skirt with train and nylon tulle underskirt

Label Text:Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte are among the most innovative young designers working today. They were inspired by Japanese horror movies when they designed this collection, and experimented until the red dye in this dress looked “like blood in water.”
