Label Text:In today’s global fashion system, color symbolism has become increasingly multi-cultural, so it is significant that in contemporary Japan, pink is strongly associated with pornographic “pink movies” as well as cute, sweet “girl culture.” Japanese artist Minako Nishiyama has explored the significance of pink in works such as "Nice Little Girl’s Wonderful Dressing-Up Room" (1992).
