Label Text:The company name “Moschino” is emblazoned on this jacket, and the words “Signed Garment” are conspicuously embroidered on its back. Moschino was known for his playful comments on the logo-obsessed fashion industry of the early 1990s. As fashion historian Rebecca Arnold described it, “This satirical word play at once undermines the wearer’s status claim . . . yet adds a kudos of self-awareness.”
